Newforma Announces Autodesk BIM 360 Integration

Manchester, NH – Newforma, a pioneer of project information management software for professional architects, engineers, contractors and owners, announces an integration with the Autodesk BIM 360 platform.

The integration between the two will give users of Autodesk BIM 360 Design and Newforma Project Center a unified solution for searching and accessing project information wherever it resides. Users will no longer waste time thinking about where to go for project information and can access it from either the BIM 360 home screen or from within Newforma Project Center.

“Newforma is committed to connecting with the tools our customers use. We are looking forward to adding Autodesk BIM 360 to our portfolio of best in class connectors and integrations,” said Ray DeZenzo, Chief Operating Officer, Newforma.

“Autodesk BIM 360 Design fundamentally changes how architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) professionals work. With BIM 360 Design, customers can securely collaborate in real-time within one company or across multiple companies to reduce rework and accelerate project delivery. Newforma’s integration with BIM 360 will deliver better traceability in the design phase and, ultimately, enable our customers to manage projects more effectively,” said Vikram Dutt, Senior Director, Building Business Line and Project Delivery, Autodesk.

Newforma Project Center is the leading project information management solution for architects and engineers, and Autodesk BIM 360 is a leading platform for connecting project teams and data in real-time, from design through construction. Customers using both Autodesk BIM 360 and the latest version of Newforma Project Center can immediately begin using the initial integration, allowing users to search their email and other information from the BIM 360 home screen. Later this year, Newforma will release a new version of its flagship Project Center product, which will allow users to directly interact with BIM 360.

“We have seen an explosion of project data in the past decade and increasingly this data is located in siloed locations. Newforma’s integrations with Office 365 and now BIM 360 make it easy to find what we need with a single view of all our project information,” said Derrick Nickerson, Senior Associate, Business Solutions Manager, Stantec.
