Princeton, N.J. — The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), an international professional nonprofit association focused on the educational needs of financial professionals in construction, announced that Sage, a provider of cloud business management solutions, will renew its partnership with the association. The partnership will allow for the continued delivery of high-quality, easily accessible educational programs to CFMA members and the construction industry overall.

“Since 2013, our partnership with CFMA has focused on facilitating the education of financial managers in the construction industry and we will continue to do so with this new agreement,” said Dustin Anderson, Vice President, Sage Construction and Real Estate. “A recent survey of construction firms found that 79 percent plan to hire in 2019. Together, we are well equipped to support this growth and the business needs of CPAs in this sector both now and in the future.”

In working together to develop educational content for financial managers in the construction industry, Sage continues to serve as the official sponsor of the Risk Management & Surety track at CFMA’s Annual Conference & Exhibition and CFMA Online Courses, including the following:

  • The Basics of Construction Accounting
  • Contracts 101
  • Cash Management
  • Advanced Cash Forecasting
  • Treasury Management Series

As the sponsor of CFMA’s Chapter Online Courses, the partnership between Sage and CFMA continues to fund educational programs available for presentation across CFMA’s 98 chapters.

CFMA’s President & CEO, Stuart Binstock, noted, “With the continued support of Sage, particularly over the last three years, CFMA has significantly increased the number of online courses in terms of development and presentation. The results speak for themselves with hundreds of registered participants each time a course is offered and top-notch material and presenters showcasing the value of CFMA education to CFMA members and industry professionals.”
