Apply for the 2017 National Municipal Stormwater and Green Infrastructure Awards

Alexandria, Va. — The Water Environment Federation is accepting applications for the 2017 National Municipal Stormwater and Green Infrastructure Awards. The entry period ends April 1.

The WEF Stormwater Institute created this awards program in 2015 through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Now in its third year, this program recognizes high-performing regulated Phase I and Phase II municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) programs. Award winners meet and exceed regulatory requirements in innovative ways that are effective and cost efficient.

Submissions will undergo an expert committee review and selection process. Winners will be designated a bronze, silver, or gold community within the categories of both program management and innovation.

WEF also will identify high-performers in program management and innovation. The Phase I and Phase II communities with the overall highest score will be recognized this fall at WEFTEC 2017.
