2019 Rising Star: Sharareh Kermanshachi

Director, Resilient Infrastructure and Sustainable Environment (RISE) Lab, University of Texas at Arlington

For her accomplishments, Dr. Kermanshachi has received several prestigious national and regional awards including the UESI Fellowship, ASCE Outstanding Reviewer, Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, ASCE Professional Service Award, ASCE Excellence in Civil Engineering Education (ExCEEd), OER Research Fellowship, and the Graduate Climate Award. Kermanshachi was the only recipient of the 2018 Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) Distinguished Leadership Award from the Faculty category.
